Campus Awareness Coast2Coast was created by Ryan Thompson, a Virginia Tech Alumni concerned about the growing school violence and mental health issues in our communities. He and his friends have been dedicated to raising awareness and money for various school tragedies since 2007 – it is time to be proactive and help our communities.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of Campus Awareness Coast2Coast is to prevent violence in schools by addressing the most fundamental causes of violence, including socioeconomic marginalization, lack of institutional resources and capacities family stressors, and mental health.
The goal of this foundation is to support existing non-profits that are successfully addressing issues of school violence through various activities. Grants will be aimed at successful violence prevention, mental health, and student-parent- teacher training and action programs around the United States.
